My mission is to assist people in the pursuit of health and fitness. I am dedicated to providing my customers with current and pertinent information on fitness and nutrition. My uniquely designed programs are catered towards each individual, with my commitment to the highest standards of personal service.

 

I joined the fitness world in the year of 2001, at 21 years old. Up until this point, I had played basketball and baseball, but never lifted weights or even been inside a lifting facility. I was 130 pounds, and very unhappy about it – I had always been teased about being skinny and small.

 

One day, I walked into a gym. I wanted to change my life through fitness, but I had no clue what I was going to do or how to do it – no devised plan whatsoever. After about three years of working out without much direction, I began to study training styles and began reading personal training manuals. I got deeper into nutrition, learning why the body needs certain things and how different foods affected the body in different ways.

 

Once I learned these serious training and nutrition principles, I started putting all of what I learned together, and my body really started to change. Before, I was severely over-training, not taking in enough food, not drinking enough water, not getting enough rest. All those things are vital for progress!

About Steve

 

Over the years, I went from 130 lbs of skin and bones to 167 lbs at 3.9% bodyfat. I have bulked up to 208 lbs and cut back down to 178 lbs at 4% bodyfat. I learned how to do all of this through lots of research, and trial and error. I lived it.

 

On Oct 27,2012, I decided to take a shot at competing in the NPC Middleweight Class. I trained for 13 weeks for this show, I came in tight and dry at 171 lbs on the day of weigh ins. However I entered the open Middle Weight class as well and ended up taking 4th there.

 

In August of 2014, I competed in the Kentucky State/ Kentucky Open Bodybuilding Championships .  My competition prep ran 14 total weeks.

I competed in both Novice and Open. I was a Middle weight in Mens Bodybuilding.

Results are as follows:

* 1st place Novice Middleweight

* 1st Place Kentucky State Open Middleweight

* 2nd Place Kentucky Open Middleweight( open to residents outside of Kentucky)

* Novice Overall Winner

What I aim to do for my Team is to take all the guesswork out of it, so you will not make the same mistakes I did. You will have all the information before you so that you can begin your transformation immediately, do it the right way, and progress much faster than I ever did. I understand the importance of living a healthy lifestyle – we all have loved ones that bring the desire to live as long as we possibly can! Fitness is the key to longevity.

 

At this time, I hold a Personal Training Certificate via Expert Rating, and am currently working on more specialized certifications in this area. Read on to

I started my fitness journey in 2008. Before I became a mother, I lived a very unhealthy lifestyle. At the time, I didn’t realize how bad it had gotten, but I was about 30 pounds overweight before I became pregnant.  During my pregnancy I gained about 35 pounds, taking me close to 200 pounds. I was miserable, really a shell of a person who had no idea who they were.  After having my daughter, I started going to the gym with Steve, but my eating was still far from ideal. Although I lost most of the baby weight, my progress stalled quickly and I became frustrated and slacked off.

 

About this time, Steve started up his online business, www.fitnesspoynters.com, and I started to take my fitness life seriously. I began a workout and meal plan and it literally changed my life. since then I have been following a plan from Fitnesspoynters.com at all times, no matter what my goals are at the time. I have gained quality lean muscle and dropped body fat. I am still going strong and now live and breathe this lifestyle. I cherish my health, and assist Steve in helping others achieve their fitness goals which is the most rewarding things I could imagine doing with my life.

 

After contemplating for a long time, I decided to enter a figure competition, the 2012 Tricky Jackson Classic. I followed a 13 week competition plan from Fitnesspoynters and placed 1st in my class. In 2014, again following a competition program from Fitnesspoynters I competed at the NPC Kentucky Muscle; the largest 1 day show in the Nation! I took 1st place in my open class, 1st place in my novice class, and won the overall in the novice category, making me the Overall Novice Figure Champion. I am currently working on making improvements and plan on taking the National stage in 2018. I am so happy I finally took that leap and didn’t let the fear of failure hold me back any longer.   If there is one thing you will learn while working with us, I hope it’s just that: Don’t let fear hold you back.  It takes courage to trust someone online to help you, and to take that first step in making your purchase.
